Regular inspection of air reservoir for water deposit

Automatic air drier is equipped in braking air line of medium-and-large-size series of vehicle. While the ambient temperature decreases to a certain level, it heats automatically the compressed air passing through the drier. In addition, there is desiccant in the air drier for absorbing moisture in the compressed air. And there also is an automatic draining valve at the bottom of each air reservoir (including regeneration tank); oil, water and rust are discharged automatically whenever depressing brake pedal.
Inspection method of the air reservoir is as follows:
Please press lightly the valve core of automatic draining valve at the bottom of each air reservoir (including regeneration tank) upwards to check water deposit in the air reservoir. Generally, if there is not water running over the draining hole, then it indicates that the air drier is under normal state. If abnormal water or oil deposit is found in the air reservoir, then the chemical desiccant in the air drier may fail. Please contact with maintenance workshop authorized by Golden Dragon immediately for inspection of the air drier and replacement of the desiccant. The automatic draining valve should be disassembled and cleaned biannually at least.
